Barbados Allamanda Beach Hotel

Allamanda Beach Hotel is a 50 room property located on the picturesque south coast of Barbados. Near to restaurants, nightclubs, entertainment activities and banks, the hotel is directly opposite Hastings Plaza where there is some duty free shopping. Some of the islands best swimming is at the world famous Rockley Beach, which is just a four-minute stroll from Allamanda. Situated just 3 minutes drive from our sister hotel Amaryllis Beach Resort.

Palm Beach in the Garrison Historic area, with safe swimming, excellent snorkeling and free non-motorized water sports. These facilities are also available for Allamanda guests. Allamanda is about 4 minutes drive from the 9-hole Rockley hotel golf course, 10 minutes drive from the capital city of Bridgetown, 15 minutes drive from the 18-hole championship golf course, Barbados Golf Club (our parent company is part owner of BGC) and 20 minutes drive from the airport.

First child stays free The first child under the age of 12 stays free when sharing a room with 2 adults! Plus since renovation of the Beach area at Allamanda had been delayed until the end of November 2007, Allamanda Resort will remain fully operational and will offer guest free shuttle service daily to the Beach at Amaryllis Resort.

The government project to create a beach and boardwalk between Rockley Beach and the Sierra beach is near completion. The beach and boardwalk outside Allamanda Beach Hotel are finished, with only landscaping left to complete. When completed (scheduled for end of October 2008), guest at the Allamanda Beach Hotel will be to enjoy a new beach right outside the hotel, as well as the ability to walk along the coastline on the new boardwalk. As always, guests at the Allamanda Beach Hotel may use the beach, pools and other facilities at the sister property Amaryllis Beach Resort.
