Very charming country relais located deep in the green hills of the Tuscan-Emilian Appennine Mountain, centered on a 45 acre working farm, but close to Bologna -20 minutes by car, and Florence -40 minutes by car. The 19th century property was recently restored to its original historic finishes, with special care taken with the selection of materials -exterior pavements in local hand made terracotta and oil finished Italian oak flooring throughout the mansions interiors. The inn*s six rooms located on the second floor provide a charming and rich atmosphere, featuring antique family furnishings acquired over the course of four generations.

great 9 holes golf club 10 minutes driving from the locanda, with special rates for our guests *closed on monday*. a good gym is in sasso marconi - 4 km from the locanda. great sporting centre with 2 swimming pools, kids park and horseback riding school is located at a 2 km distance. mountain climbing school of badolo at 6 km. .
