"My family and I (3 of us) stayed here in Jan 2007 for 2 weeks and we absolutely loved this place. The room was clean and bright the maid service was excellent and if you leave a few dollars everyday for a tip they go out of there way to make your stay better i.e. extra towels and overstocked minibar. My wife and daughter spent the entire day at the spa and said it was well worth the money. We especially loved the no wristband policy that lets you eat at any restaurant anytime and as many times as you want, the italian dining restaurant was our favorite and was some of the best food we have ever had. The entertainment staff was great and really try to get you involved in activities and really seem to care. This was not our first trip to Mexico and we have stayed in some so called 5 star places that were not as nice as dreams is. Definitely have and will recommend the resort to anybody that likes to stay at beautiful places and enjoy themselves."

"Stayed at Dreams Tulum December 6-11 2007 to attend our son's wedding on the beach. The friendly staff went to great trouble to accommodate our needs, as my husband is in a wheelchair. They even laid a plywood path across the sand so we could sit in front row at wedding. The rooms are beautiful and - wow! - the food is amazing! Yum! Highly recommend this resort."

"Welll where do I start...we were at this resort in April 2008, we paid for an upgrade, and they gave our room away to someone else...then we had to wait for another room...no compensation... the first thing we noticed we did not have soap in our bathroom to wash with, had to hunt that down, then we were constantly hunting down towels as they never left you enough for 2 of us, if you were not up and gone at 8:30 am when the maid knocked, your room did not get cleaned until 5 or 6 pm that day, the water was turned of on Tuesday and Wednesday with no explanation...the pool bathroom was nasty dirty...the elevator in our building did not work most of the time, and you would use the stairs....which is fine, but there was no railing so if you needed assistance it was not available(stairs by the elevator)...we had no TV for the week, so we could not even watch the news to know what was happening in the states...other than that we didn't care about the TV...The wait staff was not real friendly, the entertainment staff was great, lots of fun with them...the food was okay...nothing fantastic...we would not recommend this resort to anyone, it is not worth it, or very pretty...it is definatly not a 4 star"
