"One of my good friends and I went to Cancun summer of 08' and stayed at the Oasis Palm Beach and we loved absolutely everything about it. The food on the resort is amazing at all of the different places. Just make sure you make reservations or you'll be stuck eating at the buffet all day everyday! One of my personal favorites was the mediterannean. It was delicious. The staff was also great, there was always something to do by the pool, I played volleyball with the staff just about everyday. ''Your not too far from the clubs and nightlife and buses are only about 60 cents USD. There is even a snack bar open from 1-4am if i remember correctly to serve grilled sandwiches when you get back if you've had a little too much to drink :)''The only dislike I can think of is the cleaning staff. We had our room cleaned everyday... and not because we wanted to. We would often put the do not disturb on the door and come back to find one of the maids in our rooms. That was definately annoying. but other than it was an amazing vacation."

"Spent a week in mid-November with 5 friends, celebrating the big 50. Rooms smelled a bit musty and lacked washcloths, Food at buffets seemed the same everyday, sushi bar was awesome. Definitely make reservations to dine at on site restaurants. Staff was very attentive,and sooo friendly, but we tipped. Yes, its all inclusive but these hard workers are there 6 days a week many hours a day, tip them. They appreciate it."

"My husband and I traveled with our three kids in Oct 08 and they had the run of the kids club....there were no other kids around and the ratio of supervisor to child was 1-1. Plenty of activities for them to do.'Some times there were line ups for the breakfast buffet - but we were a family of 5 - our longest wait time was less than ten minutes.'The pictures of the room was a little misleading, it was pretty small for the 5 of us. There were never enough towels and there we no facecloths. We had to switch rooms because the air conditioner leaked uncontrollably when we were there. They obviously knew that it leaked because the repair person came up with a hose and knew exactly what was wrong. After the third leak, we said enough was enough and changed rooms. No hassle at all.' 'My oldest is a very picky eater, and even he managed (10 years old) to find food that he liked.'Don't waste your $$ on the bottle water in the hotel room...we hopped on a bus and went to the market...stopped by the corner store on the way back to the bus stop and paid less than 1/2 the price.'Gotta agree with Chris from PA, Alfredo was an amazing bartender.'If only my husband and I were to return to Mexico, we would probably find a diff't resort, but for the price that we paid and the fact that the kids absolutely loved the kids club, we'd definitely go back there as a family."

"The hotel seem old, smelly, and not clean at all. Our room was very small---the bathroom was tiny!!!. Our toilet broke down---staff member told us that he didnt have the part neccesary to fix it--- so my wife and kids had to go downstairs by the lobby.... buffet restaurants are hot!!!! there is no a/c!!. Impossible to make reservations @ other restaurants.... Dont be fooled by its location....the Hotel is a little more North...closer to downtown cancun.. most of the plazas(malls), clubs and the entrace to the Zona hotelera are south of......the staff @ both buffet restaurants werer nice and friendly, staff at the reception desk more serious and not so friendly...If you need to stay at any OASIS, upgrade to the Oasis Cancun where the service is many times better......or you get what you pay for..."
