Melissa from Texarkana, AR had this to say:
"We had a great time. Although the rooms were smaller than we expected, they were clean. We didn't have any water pressure for showers and the water would switch to scalding hot while we were showering. The food was okay. They had the Caribe part shut down while we were there so we only had 3 restaurants to chose from and the snack bar by the pool. The staff was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. Would probably return if the Caribe tower was open. The rooms are much nicer in that part. "

"We had an amazing experience at the Royal Solaris. The staff was friendly and efficient throughout the resort. They were prepared for our group--there were 23 of us--beyond our expectations! I am anticipating an annual trip!"

Darryl from Augusta, Maine had this to say:
"Took extended family to Cancun for grandmother's 80th birthday (lively 80). Had 8 year old along and stayed at the Royal Solaris Cancun. Great time, clean place, nice views. Everyone loved the food; lots of it and great, cheerful service. Plenty of room and choice of quiet or lively pools for spring breakers as well as families. Good kids club with friendly staffers. Talked to lots of other people there and they all liked it a lot and quite a few of them had stayed elsewhere in Cancun before. ''Highly recommend the Royal Solaris and also the zip lines at Salvatica for a side adventure. "

Jim from Memphis, TN had this to say:
"We found the Royal Solaris to be a beautiful resort and Cabo to be a great place. The hotel and the grounds were well maintained, and the staff were all very friendly. The restaurants and food were also very good. We had very little time share pressure at the resort. The only negatives were the beds were very firm and the pillows too thin. We still managed to sleep well. We look forward to a return trip."

A Recent Traveler from INDIANAPOLIS, in had this to say:
"WE GO TO MEXICO 2-3 TIMES A YEAR AND HAVE SGTAYED AT ALL THE SOLARIS PROPERTIES IN CANCUN AND OTHER RESORTS-MORE AND LESS COSTLY. AFTER LEAVING A WELL KNOWN RESORT THAT WAS TERRIBLE AND C HECKING IN TO THE SOLOARIS PROPERTY IT WAS LIKE NIGHT AND DAY. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED IN ANY OF GTHEIR PROPERTIES AND WILL ALWAYS CHOOSE SOLARIS. tHE STAFF CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS AND ACGTIVITIES THE SAME. THE ONLY DOWN IS WE GAIN WEIGHT FROM EATING SO MUCH GOOD FOOD AND DRINKING. tHE STAFF AT POOLSIDE KEEPS REFILLING YOUR DRINL EVEN WITHOUT ASKING."

A Recent Traveler from Knox, In had this to say:
"my husband and I just returned from here. We were booked for 4nights and 5 days, we liked it sooo much we stayed an extra day!! Over all we both loved it. This was our first trip to Cancun. My parents have been here for years they suggested we go. We did and I'm glad we did. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The food was great, if you could find something they got it. I'm already looking forward to returning soon. The employees were up before 6 am every morning out cleaning and preparing for the up coming day. We always saw some cleaning no matter what time of the day it was. Thanks again for a great time!!!"

K & D from New York City, NY had this to say:
"Just returned from Royal Solaris Cancun and it was AMAZING! What a much needed escape from busy New York City. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The formal (all-inclusive) dinner and breakfasts were my favorite. Definitely pack a few formal dresses and dress sandals if you plan on enjoying a fancy dinner with your hunnie. Otherwise just kick back and relax by the poolside and grab a few 'Mexican Gatorade' shots. The rooms are always clean and AC is very sufficient in the rooms. My only complaint would be the AC is needed in the dining areas for it usually gets a bit muggy and humid while having the meals inside the hotel. Seafood restuarant by the ocean and restuarant beside the swim-up bar is well ventilated though. Five stars! Will def return with my hunnie one day soon! "

Christy from Katy, Texas had this to say:
"First of all, the easiest thing we did was walk outside the hotel and catch the city bus for 65 cents and it takes you to the mall, the clubs or to the flea market or the Walmart downtown. The hotel was pretty but a little worn looking. The food was ok but the sit down places were better than the buffet. The pool is great with the swim up bar. The beach and water was unbelievably beautiful. The staff were very friendly and entertaining. The rooms are very sparse with hard mattresses and not much A/C but then again I'm a person that likes a cold A/C. The balcony view was fantastic. It's my first all inclusive experience so I honestly think the Royal Solaris fit the price we paid. I would proably upgrade to a little more expensive the next time I go. "

Andrade Family from Inglewood, CA had this to say:
"The service is great, friendly staff, swim up bar awesome, clean rooms, very safe lots of security, kiddie pool beautiful, not to mention the food,i honestly think it might be better than some of the places we've visited here in LA. one thing though be carefull when purchasing tours, they tell u everything is included when its really not. specially in XCARET, they tell you its a world wonder when really its a MANMADE theme park the under park river totally false, its swampy and very smelly, not even close of being naturally made by mother nature, and the prices in this theme park is rediculous, you need to leve 10 bucks for each towel,20 for snorkling gear and the worst part you need to buy a biodegradable sunscreen for the amount of 22 us dollars. but besides that the hotel is awesome we strongly recommend it .one very important tip, be generous to the maids they offer great service and really look out for your room when you are not there."

Veronica from Willingboro, NJ had this to say:
"Just visited the Royal Solaris last week (Aug 16-21, 2008). The Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The food was great. The pool was clean (the pool bar was excellent). There was lots of security so I fel safe having my kids (age 15 and 10) walk around safely. The only problem was there was only one set of elevators working with no air. I would visit agian."

Jill from Mars, PA had this to say:
"Wonderful experience! We had a great time. Even with the kiddie pool being shut down for repairs, we enjoyed having our kids with us (14, 12, and 6) in the main pool. It is a place I would recommend for families. I did feel safe letting my oldest go to the pool by herself where she met other teenagers to be with. There is a lot of walking of steps (one set of elevators were closed for repairs)."
