A stranger to Jerez would be amazed to find the city so small given its status as the capital of sherry. It is all very walkable with irresistible temptations along the way: bodegas proffering devilish tapas, restaurants, boutiques, souvenir shops, museums, and ornate churches heavy with incense and gold. Come nightfall, guitars sing their fiery flamenco rhythms to the clap and strut of passion. All of this is just out of earshot of the Hotel Villa Jerez, standing among the palms of an acre of subtropical gardens. The buildings have a stately elegance but behind the classic facades are rooms swathed in air-conditioned luxury and hi-tech amenities. The hotel surrounds an inviting swimming pool served by a terrace bar. There is a soothing spa and fitness room. The gastronomic restaurant presents international, national and regional cuisine complemented by excellent local wines. The service and staff deserve a mention, too: obliging, courteous, charming and friendly.
On-site recreation - cardio vascular exercise exercising golfing tennis wine tasting onsite recreational activities - we have no spa. .
