Boca de Tomatlan, a small seaside village, is the source of most of the fish sold in the area. A tropical jungle paradise surrounds the village which can be toured by jeep or on horseback. Water sports are ideal off the beach because of the clear, blue-green water. With friendly locals, stunning views and an amazing atmosphere Boca de Tomatlan is one of the best places to visit in Puerto Vallarta.

I spent three days in Boca and 5 days at a 5 star resort in Nuevo and loved BOCA 1000 times more. Highly recommended and it's safe. I thought just because it was considered jungle that it would be awful, but it was the BEST."
