"This was one of the best Luau Shows we have ever seen, beautiful location, very authentic show rich with the Hawaiian culture -and the show was spectacular!!! I would recommend that every one to the Big Island see the Kona Village Resort Luau. WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN and next time we will bring our enitre family. David - Boston, MA"

"The Luau at the Kona Village Resort was less than impressive to be kind. To start, we waited in line about 30 minutes despite the fact that we had made reservations a month prior to the luau. Subsequently, we waited another 10-15 minutes to be seated. Some 1-1.25 hours later, our table was finally escorted to the food line, which normally would have been okay, but they did not provide time for us to eat our food before the show started. It was dark and we had no idea what we were eating. The show only lasted about 30 minutes and the large pole behind which we were seated obstructed our view. At the conclusion of the show, we were abruptly escorted out of the show along with the other "guests". The service was mediocre and for the price, we could have attended some of the finest restaurants on the Island. My suggestion is that if you want to see a more authentic luau, you watch the Brady Bunch episode when they travel to Oahu. "
