Orlando's Discovery CoveOrlando's Discovery Cove® is the result of SeaWorld's® 35 years of experience caring for marine animals and educating its visitors about these amazing creatures. Discovery Cove® takes SeaWorld's personal interaction with marine life to a brand new level with the highlight of the park being a private swim with a bottlenose dolphin. Guests will also be able to explore a coral reef with thousands of tropical fish and exotic rays, relax in a tropical river setting, or interact with over 30 species of birds.
A personal experience is what Discovery Cove® is all about and this is observed by the parks attendance limit of 1,000 guests per day and a strict reservations only policy. Lunch at Laguna Grill is included in the price of admission. There are no age requirements to enter the park, but guests must be at least 6 years old to experience the dolphin-swim. Discovery Cove is a full day of adventure with operating hours of 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. daily. Close to International Drive, Discovery Cove® has plenty of nearby hotels, restaurants and shops.

Dolphin Swim

The must-experience attraction of Discovery Cove®, the Dolphin Swim offers guest an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a connection with these extremely intelligent marine mammals. The experience begins with an interactive orientation including a video presentation, a lesson on how to use hand signals and positive reinforcement to communicate and safety guidelines to observe. Next, enter the Dolphin Lagoon and become acquainted with one of the 30 beautiful dolphins and spend 30 minutes playing and swimming with this incredible mammal.

Coral Reef

Submerge yourself in an incredible new experience when you explore Discovery Cove's® unique coral reef teeming with tropical fish and giant rays. Immerse yourself in tropical surroundings including shipwreck remains, beautiful grottos, and the amazing reef.

Tropical River

Relax and wade in Discovery Cove's® Tropical River. Freshwater winds its way through Discovery Cove's immaculate landscaping to the shores of a sunny beach. There you can float, sun bath or explore an underwater cave. Serenity awaits you as you discover this tropical river escape.

Ray Lagoon

Immerse yourself in the majestic Ray Lagoon and interact with southern and cow nose rays. Another amazing aquatic interaction experience you will not soon forget.

Aviary

Discovery Cove's® Aviary is home to more than 30 species of birds you will be able to touch, feed and talk to. Over 250 free flying tropical birds are there to view as you explore the stone catacombs, bridges and rivers.

Resort Pool

Relax in this pristine freshwater pool with crystal blue waters and a consent 80 degree temperature. Visit the grotto's waterfalls for a natural massage or catch some sun by the pool. The Resort Pool is also the starting point for you to begin your exploration of the Tropical River.

"Hello Discovery Cove My family was there in 2005, l swam with Tyler , the dolphin, ever since then , l know l will never forget that moment in my life, next is a killer whale. Say Hello to Tyler for me l now have a tatoo of a dolphin on my leg his name is tyler. had a great time there even with the birds since, l have 10 big birds at home myself , l just thought l was at home.
