Don't let the name fool you, Park Chow, in the Sunset District isn't a Chinese Restaurant. The "Park" comes from it's location near Golden Gate Park, and the "Chow' comes from, well, what they serve; good, wholesome food at fair prices. This family-friendly place serves American, Italian, and some Asian dishes, but locals in the know rave about the ginger cake with pumpkin ice cream. Not too touristy, most visitors to San Francisco miss out on this gem of an eatery.
