"We stayed at the hotel and it rained the first day; but the room was so nice that we didn`t mind. The next day we enjoyed the pool and visited the beach. The big Kahuna was too crowded, so we hung around the hotel. I would recommend this resort to anyone."

"We had a great experience. My husband and I used the fitness center every day and it was wonderful. The pool area is amazing, the only problem was the lagoon pool was too cold for me! I loved the hot tub, it was perfect. We used the shuttle service to the beach, it was great and the driver was so nice. We actually walked back to the resort instead of taking the shuttle. The grounds are beautiful and the resort is extremely family oriented. We will definitely be back! The Palms of Destin is fantastic!!!"

"First class!! Our stay at the Palms of Destin was the best!! Never needed to leave the resort. Not on the beach, but the lagoon pool is fabulous!! Restaurant on the resort, exercise equipment was modern, and spa is great. No need to leave the resort. We took the short walk to the beach and it's gorgeous. Our room, or condo, at the Palms was clean and modern. We loved it and we will be back!"

"I just returned from the Palms of Destin and must say this is a remarkable vacation get away. I have read the other comments and understand the Cleaning Fee situation. All condos in the area charge for short stays so you just need to ask questions and get the facts. The place is amazing. Although its not on the beach you did have a great view from your condo. The pool is second to none, The workout facility is great and the spa was first class. It is located in the heart of all that Destin has to offer. I would strongly recommend this resort. Your family will feel like they were in Hawaii with all the palm trees and gardens."

"We had a nice room. the price quoted was not the true price upon check-in hidden fees for cleaning and reservation were a let down. My wife and I were there to celebrate our anniversary of 25 years. There was a very professional 'Manager' Mr Fawaz who was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgable. Although we were upset about the increased price he made us feel very welcome and apprecated. WeI would return and we also have recommended to our circle of friends to stay at the Palms."

"We had a nice room, but lousy customer service. I was quoted and charged a certain price on Bookit.com and when I arrived they didn't even have our reservation. To top it all off, they charged an extra boatload of money for 'additional' fees. The final charge from Bookit.com should have been the rate not some other rate when I arrived. My daughter's birthday was ruined, as I had to spend time waiting for the 'manager' and dealing with this issue. I would never stay here again, unless the manager is terminated and there is a true price quote. "

"While the pool is amazing and the condos tasteful, the overall experience was awful. We were stranded at the beach for 45 minutes by the shuttle service and when it was mentioned to the staff they said there were "no guarantees of pick up". The managers, save for one, were rude and condescending and completely unprofessional. Over charges were also snuck in including a reservation fee of $50.00 and a cleaning fee of $65.00. I would NOT at all recommend The Palms. Terrible experience."
