The A Family from Altamonte Springs, Florida had this to say:
"Not sure what has happened to the hotel, we have always stayed here because of balcony and 24 hour pool, and great smiling faces but this time found the front desk staff to be all business and didn't want to answer my questions, the free continental breakfast consisted of a stale bagel and a small cup of juice, the pool area was really dirty this time, due to roof work being dropped down below and not cleaned and I waited 6 hours to see how would clean the mess from the stairs where everyone had to step over it, the outlets in the room were falling out of the walls, the safe was broken and parts were hanging loose, the interior hallways had very stained carpet. On a more positive note, I do think that somewhere there are more updated rooms, because in the past I have staying in them just didn't get lucky this time, usually the upgrades are affordable, this time they wanted $30 to upgrade to a empty room with a Disney view, in this economy I would think you want people to come back again feeling like they got a good value in the past the upgrades to empty rooms where $10 and I have seen others say they were free, I guess if the staff likes you from the start your stay will be good, if you ask any questions watch out. If you are staying here realize I have been about 7 times and this has been my only bad stay, I would suggest the King Suite for extended stays, and be prepared to spend $8.99 in resort fees. Oh if you live in the state of Fl the concierge people don't care about you, because you can't tour their properties for time share so don't bother asking them for any real help. I hope this hotel can get back the Magic they once had, because I really used to love it!"

The G Family from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania had this to say:
"My family and I went to Disney last year and we have a family of 6 so, we didn't have much money to spend and we didn't know where to stay. When I found this hotel I was debating on if we should pay the money and stay at the expensive hotels with the Disney Characters or stay here. When we arrived I was very pleased, we went straight to Downtown Disney, (which is only 3minutes away) we came back ordered pizza, and saw fireworks right out our window. It was a beautiful hotel, everyone was friendly, the transportation took a little patience but other than that, it was very clean and a very nice hotel for the money. I would definitely stay here again!"

Stacey from YPSILANTI, Michigan had this to say:
"we just returned from Orlando. Best Western was nice, good location, majority of front desk staff ok. The person who checked us in (Sharon) i believe was her name was excellent! Guest Services staff should be removed, were not at all helpful if you were not interested in booking their time share presentations. Shuttles to park pretty reliable. downtown disney bus starts at 6:00pm. we had a disney view room and although we were never there during fireworks, would have had an excellent view of epcot show. breakfast buffet was ok, restaurant staff very friendly. basically, our only complaint was not enough activity for the children/teen in our group. pool area very boring for them. no basketball or other type of sports activities. would probably recommend. it is a good, clean hotel for the money."

The G Family from Denver, Colorado had this to say:
"There's a reason why our family had the 'best' vacation in the 'Best Western' in Orlando, FL on Disney property! The beds were so comfortable that they made up for all the other 'little' things that may have happened. Everything is either a walk or short drive away. We always had clean towels and made beds. Breakfast in the hotel was great and service was tremendous. If I had to change one thing it would be the 'extras' of our stay, but by booking our hotel through BookIt.com, we paid for our stay in advance and our bill reflected it. We recommend booking your stay through BookIt.com and taking advantage of all the amentities that come with it. Awesome experience!"

H M Taylor from Hollandale, MS had this to say:
"This was my second time staying at this hotel. The first time I did not make reservations. This time I did my on reservations online through book it.com and it was amazing. The rooms were so nice that after a day of shopping, we decided to lounge around the room, eat pizza and watch the fireworks right from our balcony. It was beautiful."

Kim from POPLAR BLUFF, Missouri had this to say:
"My family and I drove to Orlando for a week's vacation. We did not purchase a package, just hotel accommodations. Originally we had booked a 2 bedroom condo online, on this website, for my husband and me, and our 14 y.o. son. The reviews were great. We booked it. A few days later, I checked reviews on other websites, and found that most were NOT good. After much web surfing and agonizing, we canceled the reservations two days before our trip, this cost us a total of $70. The day we were to leave home, we FINALLY, after much more agony, chose the Best Western @ Lake Buena Vista. It is not far from Downtown Disney. It is an older hotel which has been refurbished. The outdoor area is BEAUTIFUL! The lobby area was very clean and attractive. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. We had a small private balcony in our room on the fifth floor. We were not up high enough to adequately view the fireworks, but we were in our room only one night @ fireworks time. There was a huge tree blocking part of the view, otherwise we could have seen the full effect. We couldn't get the safe to work, but my son was just trying it out, we didn't need it.Our personal belongings left in room were not disturbed. We slept late every day, and would wake to find a note under door that they were respecting our request and what to do if we missed housekeeping services. Linen changes could be requested as desired. There was an ample supply of towels, and Bath and Body toiletries were provided. The pool area was very nice, the water was nice and warm; the pool was well maintained and clean. The 'all you can eat and drink' breakfast buffet at the restaurant was delicious but pricey @ $10.99 per person. We frequented the lounge area late at night when returning from our day's activities. We don't drink, food can served there after 10 p.m. when the restaurant closes. Again, good food, fairly reasonably priced. We, for some reason, did not receive continental breakfasts. Others had included this with their booking, I guess, and could get breakfast from the small cafe area, or use it for $4 off the buffet. They have a very nice Disney store in the lobby. There is also a small game room. There is a very expensive, small store for food items, personal hygiene items, soft drinks, etc.. We opted for valet parking as we felt this was a nice luxury. And it was very nice to pull up to the door and just walk right in. The shuttle service was very reliable, with pleasant, friendly drivers. Located on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, if you turn east out of the parking lot and go a few blocks to stop light, straight through stoplight you will find a multitude of eating establishments (TGIF, Red Lobster, etc), Pirate's Cove Mini Golf, a grocery store, and more. We arrived on a Saturday night, and checked out the next Saturday morning, and were more than pleased with our stay. Please be aware that a $7.99 'resort fee' was charged daily, this supposedly took care of extras such as pool towels, shuttle service, in-room coffee, etc. We had wonderful weather (stayed 3/6/09-3/14/09), and the best part was the theme parks weren't crowded, and spring break started the weekend we left!!!!!!"

Leasha Rice from Panama City Beach, FL had this to say:
"We had an Excellent stay! The hotel has a Cozy lobby with a very pleasant staff at check-in. This hotel is a great place for business or pleasure and minutes away from downtown Disney. I was surprised that the hotel had not one, but two restaurants. One is the main dining area and we highly recommend going down for breakfast, Make sure you try the Mickey Mouse waffles!! There is a small cafe that serves pizza and other quick snack type items. The sports bar area also serves food. There are several restaurants within a short driving distance of the hotel as well, just in case you don't want to take advantage of what the hotel has to offer. The room itself was very clean and the beds were very comfortable it also had a breathtaking view of the surrounding hotels and Downtown Disney. I was also happy to find bath & body works products stocked in the restroom nice touch. I really cant say enough about this hotel, except that I will defiantly be back! Our only wish is that we could have stayed just one more night!"

Tyson and Angi from Panama City Beach, FL had this to say:
"After looking at the pictures from the website, I was figuring that the hotel was not gonna be anything like what is shown. I was correct in that fact, because the hotel was absolutely awesome! The lobby was very clean and the staff was VERY friendly. Even the maintenance man was friendly in the elevator. The hotel is in need of some technical upgrades like the elevators and the carpets are a bit worn, but it isn't bad enough to ruin anything. We had booked the Deluxe Disney View room and the view was unbelievable. We sat outside for the better part of an hour enjoying the wonderful show and listening to the nearby music of Downtown Disney. I think about the only thing that took away from the hotel was maybe the breakfast. The regular breakfast was really small; so we upgraded to the larger breakfast. Overall the trip was fun and being so close to Downtown Disney. made the experience very wonderful!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here, room was very spacious and clean. Very close to all parks, would stay here again. Only 1 concern, parking lot was usually full, lots of spaces took up for valet parking."

Peg from Pittsburgh, PA had this to say:
"Our visit was not a good one. We were there the end of August 2008. The valet insisted I pay for valet parking or my car could be broken into; the bathroom ceiling had a leak; and we were overcharged for the resort fee. We had a 7-day reservation but checked out and moved to another hotel on the 2d day. We would have moved on the 1st day if we could have reached our travel agent more quickly. The restaurant staff was very nice, but could not make up for the overall deficiencies. I do not recommend this hotel at all."

Sal from Toronto, Canada had this to say:
"This hotel was supposed to be a non smoking hotel. That's why I booked it. Far from it. I had smoke coming into my room from the vents. I got a severe allergic reaction. The room was also dirty and old. I asked the staff to switch my room. They were rude and I was forced to leave the hotel in the middle of the night to search for another hotel. This experience ruined my holiday. "

Debbie and Ken from Panama City Beach, Florida had this to say:
"What can I say? This place was so awesome !! We were on the 16th floor and had such a beautiful view. The fireworks were great. It was a short show, but from my balcony, it was perfect. When we checked in, we had reservations to the Pirate Dinner show, and had no idea how to get there. The gentleman at the front desk was so sweet and courteous. He called them and wrote down detailed directions for us. I thought that was so nice. Everyone was so nice and courteous. At night we went down to the hotel bar and had some drinks. Great drinks and a fabulous bartender. She was so cool and down to earth. Now lets talk about the room... The beds were the most comfortable hotel beds that I had ever slept in. They were Sealy beds I think. And the pillows... Ahhh so soft. The room was spotless, and had Bed and Bath products. The only think that I would liked to have had was a king bed and a mini fridge. But, after all of the rest of the perfection... Who cares !! We cannot wait to go back !!"

Patti from York, PA had this to say:
"We stayed there this past weekend and chose this hotel because of the advertised claim of being able to see the Epcot fireworks from our room balcony. We even paid an increased price to guarantee a room facing Epcot. Well, we saw fireworks -- just a red glare far, far away in the distance. This was NOT a view of the fireworks. Had we known this, we would NOT have left the park and would have watched them there rather than from the "comfort of our room" which is what we thought we were going to do. It was a very big disappointment.
The rooms were clean, although badly in need of some upgrading. We had no mini fridge, no safe, the tv internet access was horrendous (took 5 tries before we actually connected and then it was a black and white screen that we could barely read).
We stayed 2 nights and when we arrived back in our room the 2nd night, a towel that had been left on the floor (meaning we wanted it replaced) was still on the floor. The other towels were taken and replaced, but for some reason this one wasn't.
We wont stay again simply because of the misrepresentation. Even after verifying with the front desk at check-in that we would, in fact, be able to see the fireworks only to find that not to be the case, the hotel just wasn't what we expected. We could have stayed at a Disney economy hotel for less money per night and been given the opportunity to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours."

Sandra Chavez from Orlando, FL had this to say:
"What a great find! I was looking for a hotel for me and my family to stay near Disney while I attended a conference. The location and price for the Best Western was perfect! The staff was extremely helpful and the complimentary tickets to Pleasure Island were such a treat! Great deal! Great place. Would go again!"
