A Recent Traveler from Montreal, Quebec had this to say:
"Our honeymoon started on a terrible note. Our flight was late and our luggage arrived only at midnight. The staff at the hotel, gave us toothbrushes, toothpaste and opened the store so we could get any other toiletries we needed. They also upgraded our room to a Savannah view. The food at BOMA downstairs is amazing. We went back twice and I took my parents there when we went back and they loved it. We are definitely going back to enjoy the grounds."

A Recent Traveler from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida had this to say:
"Our favorite hotel in Disney, a great experience! Make sure to get a room with a view of the Savannah - one of the best parts. Although it is expensive, it is well worth it. "

A Recent Traveler from Flagler Beach, FL had this to say:
"We have stayed at the lodge twice (both savanna view), and have even driven over just to eat at Boma's and enjoy the atmosphere of AK Lodge. As soon as you walk onto the property you hear African music; walking into the lodge is an experience for all senses. What others say is a dark atmosphere - I don't understand. As all Disney resorts, this is themed. The theme of this is a rambling wood lodge set along the plains. Gorgeous decor, a lot of the staff are from Africa on visas so you get the whole feel. Stories told by them around the firepit at dusk, nightvision goggles to see the animals from the safety of the property, a beautiful pool area, two really great restaurants, waking to see giraffes and crown storks outside your window... this is my favorite resort, without a doubt."
