Orlando Gaylord Palms

"We made our reservations through Bookit not knowing what to expect. We came to Orlando for a wedding and stayed downtown. After the wedding we checked into the Gaylord Palms for a 2 night stay. At check-in, we were given an upgraded room to the Emerald rooms.The room was nice and we had a great view of the giant kiddie pool. The adult only pool was beautiful! There was poolside bar service and the pool and surroundings were very clean.The next morning, my husband went to the from desk to see if we could upgrade to an atrium view. Whitney at the front desk was more than happy to do so! For an upgrade fee of 20 dollars, she put us in an atrium view with balcony suite!! How nice it was to sit on the balcony and drink a glass of wine with my husband! The room was nice, not the best we have ever stayed in, but the view and the hotel made up for that! The hotel is nice and big and nice shops and restaurants. It is a great hotel to try at least once and definitely a great pool for adults and kids! Great nice and friendly staff also! We didn't want to leave after our time was up! We probably will not return as we like to stay at different places, but this one was nice!"

"We stayed at the Gaylord Palms over Memorial weekend 2009 and we were very impressed with the resort, the room and the service we received. We were given a free upgrade to a suite at the time of check in because they made a mistake on our reservation. The suite was amazing with 2 balconies and a master bedroom away from the rest of the room. The entire resort is top of the line, although the food was a little pricey it was very good! We used the shuttle to Disney all 3 days we were there and it worked out great! The price we paid on bookit.com was a great deal! We highly recommend this resort and hope to go back again in the future!"
