A Recent Traveler from RICHMOND, VA had this to say:
"We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo. I was rather Spartan in the kitchen department, but had all we really needed since we were not there that much. It was so much nicer than a hotel. You cannot beat being able to cook some meals, do laundry and have a dishwasher. Everyone had their own bed and bathroom. It was huge in size, had a huge TV, clean, new and in beautiful condition. I would recommend it highly and would love to stay there again. We did have to buy a higher wattage light bulb to get better lighting. We loved the place."

Terri from Tampa, FL had this to say:
"All I can say is WOW~! We have traveled around, staying in many locations. I must say, this is the BEST we have stayed at! There was nothing to complain about at all. We stayed in a 3/2, beautiful place, LOTS of room for us and our 4 grandchildren. Nice size pool, LOVED the hot tub, fitness, pool table, etc. It was also such a blessing to have a new full size washer and dryer! The only setback I found was there was not a complete set of pots and pans. However, we called the office and they brought what we needed. I would recommend this place not just for singles but truly for families. I cannot wait to go back. I did not just come to write this review, but to book again! And BTW, there are other hotels that are run down, dirty, no amenities, and their rates are much higher! Go visit, you will love it!"

A Recent Traveler from Baton Rouge, LA had this to say:
"My family and I went to Orlando this week and stayed at a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo. I had to say, the room was very hot the first couple of days. Since we were on the 2nd floor, it was especially hot since heat rises. The air conditioning didn't work well. We solved the problem by opening the windows and the balcony doors. I was glad the balcony had a screen so nothing could get in. We were also told on our reservations that there were 2 twin size beds in 1 of the bedrooms. When we got there, 1 of the twin beds that was perfectly made, but one folded up on the wall like they had just taken it apart. I was surprised at the lighting. In the bedrooms, there was more lighting in the bathrooms than the bedrooms. All there was in the bedroom was a lamp which was on the other side of the room from the door. Other than too hot and too dark, it was still a good stay."

melissa Robinson from Hiawatha, iowa had this to say:
"I booked SunLake Resort Through Book IT and then found some bad reviews. I have absolutely no complaints. It was a wonderful experience. I plan on staying there again in future visits. Disney World is actually pretty much down the street. There is a supermarket, tgif's, cracker barrel, and tourist shop within walking distance. The condo was clean, nothing broken and the area was very clean. You just have to keep in mind when you stay there that they provide minimal items. It's a condo not a hotel. Hope this helps. I have already recommended it to friends and family. "

Kimberly from Palm Harbor, Florida had this to say:
"I could not believe my eyes when I opened the door to this condo. It was beautiful. This is the best kept secret near Disney. We booked it for 2 nights to go to Blizzard Beach and it was perfect. I just cannot get over the fact that the price was so great. This is perfect for a family. The living space is so huge with plenty of space to spread out. We had the two bdr with two bathrooms. I can't wait to tell my friends and family how great it is. I would have given all 5's but I did not see any staff or talk to anyone. We got there late and picked up the keys at the after hours box. I was missing my 25.00 coupon for Giordanno's and had no one to call. Despite that little glitch... I would definately go back. "

A Recent Traveler from Green Bay, WI had this to say:
"Sun Lake is an awesome value! For $76/night thru bookit, we got a 3BR, 2BA amazing condo unit (during Spring Break week!). We were impressed with the spaciousness of the unit and quality of the furnishings as soon as we walked in. Our unit overlooked the pond/wetland (there is no lake) which my husband, who is a nature nut, absolutely loved. We even had a bobcat pass through one morning! The beds were very comfortable with lots of closet space and a washer/dryer right in the unit. There were a total of three TV's in the unit which was very nice. The pool was nice also. Even though it is on a major highway, you would never know it as it is set back far enough from the road. We never had any traffic noise and the view from the screened in deck was so relaxing. Very nice to come back to after a busy day at the parks. There is a brand new Super Target just down the road which was very convenient to purchase everything we needed. They also have a nice selection of Disney souvenirs for a fraction of the price in the parks. It took us five minutes to get to the Disney parks -- if that is where you are spending the majority of your time, this is definitely the place to stay. We've stayed in condos before and have usually had to purchase things like TP, paper towel, soap, etc. so that was no surprise as it was expressed in other reviews. There were only 4 bath towels and 2 washcloths so that was a bit inadequate and we had to purchase more. Also no dish towels/clothes in the kitchen. The two complaints we had were that the floors were absolutely filthy. I took off my shoes when we arrived and by the time I had walked to the back bedroom, my white socks were black! You could see and feel the dirt on the floors. There was no vacuum or broom so we were stuck that way for the week. They would do well to equip each unit with a Swiffer or some means of cleaning the floors. There was no carpet in our unit -- tile and linoleum throughout so be aware if you have little ones -- the flooring is cold and hard (and dirty). The other complaint was the lack of lighting. There was no overhead lighting in any of the rooms except the kitchen and that combined with the heavy, dark furniture made it feel dreary and was difficult to read. We actually bought a floor standing lamp at Target and then returned it before we left for home-- it was that dark. Those complaints were minor compared to the value and location of Sun Lake -- we would definitely stay there again!"

A Recent Traveler from Knoxville, TN had this to say:
"My family and I just returned from a trip to Orlando. We booked through BookIt.com for a 6 night stay at this resort, and it was a great experience. The 3 BR 3 Bath condo was in excellent condition, was very clean, and provided a very enjoyable place for us to relax after our days in the theme parks. We have been to Orlando for spring break for the past 12 years now, and I can easily say that this was the nicest accommodations we have ever had (excluding our two trips that we spent in the Universal Royal Pacific hotel). At $75 per night, it was an absolute steal and we will definitely use this resort again on future trips. ''The only negative was the lack of TVs. There was one flat screen in the living room area, but no TV in any bedroom. Since our days were filled with theme park visits, this was only a minor inconvenience, but it was the only negative about the place."

A Recent Traveler from grand rapids, michigan had this to say:
"Check-in WAS 4pm. Not earlier by any means. Nice presentation when entering condo. NICE. Only one TP, no coffee filters or salt and pepper. I wonder what the maids do with the stuff from every condo that someone leaves!!!! No dish towels or cloths. Only 2 washclothes. Well, nice thing that store really close. Will be prepared next time. But, definately will come back...Really close to everything though. "

Patty from Houma, LA. had this to say:
"Me, my husband and three children just came back from florida and stayed here at the resort and we thought it was a very nice place to stay. It was very roomy and loved the back screened in patio area with the lake view. My kids loved it. We will stay here again and let others know about it also. I also liked the price 1/2 off was a very good deal."

Mom2Be from LOWELL, MA had this to say:
"At first I was skeptic because the pictures weren't all that great. When we checked in our 2 bedroom condo, I was amazed at how spacious it was. We were a party of four, 2 adults (hubby and I) and 2 teen boys. I admit, the walls werent as clean as it can be, but that does not rule out how clean and awesome the place was. The master bedroom had a jacuzzi tub which was great. Although not very clear, the television had a lot of channels to choose from. (hbo and more than basic cable) The condo is located near a plaza of restaurants and shopping centers. I would recommend this place to ANYONE who is looking to save some money. Even though there's 3 beds total, you can still pull beds from the couch. (couch-bed) one in the living area, and one in the tv area. (the condo had 2 living areas) Seriously, and honestly last year my hubby and I stayed at the Best Western in Lake Buena Vista (inside disney gates- near downtown disney) and to compare, the SunLake Resort is soooo much better. It cost less and you get more privacy. Best western wasnt great, the food wasn't great either AND you had to pay for parking (we didnt rent a car- why would we have to pay?) they made us pay anyway, which still ticks me off (hotel policy). Back to SunLake Resort- The location was GREAT! it was about 15min away from Universal Studios and less than 5minutes away from Disney World. And just about 5 minutes away from Fun Spot. The location was very convenient. The only downside to the condo i would say is, You have to come prepared. You have to buy your shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, dish detergent, laundry detergent (if u plan on using the washer and dryer) Yes!- the washer and dryer is included in your unit! The other downside was, there were maintenance men who came in the middle of the day. When they came, i was in the back living area yelling who it was, and they just helped themselves in. (which was rude) Other than that, the whole experience was great and i would recommend it to any one. "

Arthur from Scarsdale, NY had this to say:
"Checked in on Feb 14th in a 3 bedroom unit for 4 nights. Bookit had a great deal where the 4th night was free plus the $25 coupon for Giordano's Restaurant which we used. Kids liked the unit and the view of the lake from the screened in porch was nice. The unit was OK but had stains on the rug near the kitchen and some of the lightbulbs did not work and the unit needed some more lighting above the dining table. Kids all loved the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. Condo was close to supermarkets and restaurants like TGI Friday's, Giordano's, CIci's Pizza and Red Lobster. Would definitely go back if the rates were this low. "

jeff from Lakeland, Fl had this to say:
"This place was huge, and clean. Only a few complaints which was the pool closed at dusk. The bed in the master bedroom was a queen instead of a king. And the bathtube was a bit small. Also you are responsible for your own cleaning, even though if you stay less than 3 nights you will be charged a cleaning fee. We had the 2 bedroom suite. Overall the villa was one of the best places we have stayed in orlando. If you are looking to take a family on a trip and want a great value this is the place. Will stay here again and again."

Melissa from Atlanta, GA had this to say:
"Visited in Feb 2009 with my husband and 2 kids. We stayed in the 3 BR villa due to the great rate we got. The facility was quite nice and our only complaint was that 2 of our 3 days we had no hot water. We called the emergency number and no one answered, nor was there voicemail. Once the office opened, we went over and a maintenance man came and adjusted the hot water heater. He was in and out in less than 5 minutes, so knew exactly what the issue was. We had nice hot showers that night. The following day the hot water was off again. I think they have a timer or energy saving device that wasn't set correctly. Even though that was the only problem, it was extremely annoying, especially since it happened twice and they did not answer the emergency line. "

A Recent Traveler from Defuniak Springs , FL had this to say:
"WE HAD A GREAT STAY THERE. IT WAS VERY QUIET WHICH IS VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS AREA. JUST A COUPLE OF THINGS. THE POOL CLOSES AT DARK AND THAT WAS DISAPPOINTING. WE USUALLY SWIM WHEN WE RETURN FROM THE PARKS. ALSO, THERE WAS NO DISHTOWEL OR DISHRAGS. WE FINALLY WENT TO WYNN DIXIE AND BOUGHT PAPER TOWELS. ALSO NO EXTRA TOILET PAPER. I HAD READ THAT IN A PREVIOUS COMMENT SO I BROUGHT A ROLL FROM HOME. THERE IS NO DISHWASHING LIQUID AND ONE CAPSULE FOR THE DISHWASHER. BRING SOME FROM HOME. ALSO IF YOU GET THE 2 BEDROOM, THE EXTRA BEDROOM WE HAD, HAD 2 TWIN BEDS AND IT WAS 2 ADULT COUPLES. WE WOULD DEFINITLY STAY THERE AGAIN."

Patrick from Orlando, FL had this to say:
"I work and live in Orlando and know a lot of really good places to stay and a lot of really bad ones... This is a REALLY GOOD place to stay. The combination of villa location is tough to beat. The villa is very up to date and very well appointed. Most people's houses aren't furnished this well. I ate at Giordanno's out front of SunLake (owned by the same people that own SunLake), they gave me a discount to eat there. BY FAR, the best chicken Parmesan I have ever had. I recommend this place to family and friends coming to Orlando from out of town"

Jeff from Houston, Tx had this to say:
"I to was skeptical about this place. When my wife told me, for a week it was under $700, I ws real skeptical. We had 4 adults 4 young kids and a teenager. The rooms were clean and comfy, full kitchen, formal living and dining, 4 bedroom, 3 full baths. Just minutes from all Disney world parks. The kids loved the pool, even though there was some construction, noise level was very low if at all. If I had to give a con- It would be no paper towels or toliet paper other then that everthing was furnished. I would stay again and recommend this place..."

Matt from Dudley, MA had this to say:
"While we could not be more pleased with our six night stay in a spacious 3 bedroom/3 bath unit, this property should not be considered a resort. The on-site amenities, which are limited to a weight rooom, pool and jacuzzi are what you would find at most economy and better hotels and inns. That being said, if you are planning a Disney trip with family or friends, consider this place as an economical and practical option. Our unit (3148A), which was recently refurbished, was clean and could comfotably accomodate eight people. The Disney and Sea World parks are minutes away and many of the other attractions are also really close. The location of Sun Lake is among hundreds of restaurants and conveniences yet it is set back off of the main strip (192) and is extremely quiet. If you are planning to spend your trip at the Disney/Seaworld/Universal Parks and are not planning to sit at the 'resort' loafing around, this place definitely would work for you. I suggest that if you do book at this location, you call them in advance as I did to request one of the newly refurbished units, preferably on the second floor; the sound proofing between the floors is not the greatest. Other than that, you really can't go wrong at this place. "

"Nice Place to stay close to disney but I was a little upset about the $65.00 fee for housekeeping I had to pay that I wasn't told about ahead of time and there wasn't any housekkeeping service provided. The condo was nice, clean and spacious but the beds were awful, the hot tub lukewarm and the fitness room was locked. There wasn't any paper goods or towels for the kitchen or downstairs bathroom. But a good deal for the price."

Eduardo from Mexico, NL had this to say:
"I was very skeptical about this resort, but it turned out to be an excellent choice for a group of 5 adults looking for a place to sleep (we spend the day out in the parks). The condo has almost everything you need, go to the super market located just out of the building and then you will have everything you need. It is convinient and for $85 bucks it is just the best deal, if you are looking for luxury then go somewhere else, if you need a nice place to stay this is far the best option. Staff is invisible but for the price who needs them, for all the people that travel on budget, this is the place. Have fun in your Orlando experience."

A Recent Traveler from Richmond, Kentucky had this to say:
"My family and I recently went to Orlando and stayed in one of the 3 bedroom units. A very nice condo for the money. Within a 5 minute drive to Disney parking lot. I was a little put off by the fact that we had to buy our own toilet paper, papertowels and coffee, but overall a nice vacation spot. Very close to shopping and short drive to the airport. I would recommend this resort if you have more than three people in your party. "

Todd from Madison, AL had this to say:
"I visited Orlando Sept 15-22 with my wife and 2 children. The condos were in a great location and a terrific value for the money. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit which was very clean. There was plenty of space for the kids to play, however only one TV in the condo created a battle at night. The unit we stayed in might have the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. The bed consisted of a top mattress on some wooden slats. The walls were a little thin and the unoccupied unit next to us had an alarm that went off at 2am, but the administration took care of that the next day. We did make it to the pool and exercise room one night. Nice facilities, the hot tub could have been a little warmer."

"I, too was skeptical booking this resort but my worries were for nothing. The three bedroom was spacious, clean and just right for our party of five. We loved the location because we spent less than 20 minutes driving to the Disney Parks. The washer and dryer was an added bonus as we didn't have to bring home dirty clothes. I have recommended this resort to several of my friends who are planning Florida trips and I know that our family will try to book this resort again. The only negative thing about this resort is the 4:00 p.m. check-in time."

It is a very spacious and luxurious condo that makes you feel right at home. We needed a place to stay as we visited the parks each and every day and we wanted to make sure that where we slept at night we had all the comforts of home....and we did. We are planning on going back at least for the next 3 years."
