"I have stayed at the Royal Pacific twice for a girls' weekend away and both times were great experiences. Your island retreat begins as you enter the hotel. The staff is friendly from the check in counter to the woman handing out towels at the pool. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms were much larger and nicer than we expected. There are many dining options on property but don't miss checking out Emeril's Tchoup Tchoup or the sushi restaurant at the hotel. A ferry conveniently stops at the hotel and takes guests directly to Universal City Walk with a short walk to the parks from there (shorter walk than from the parking garage), so there's no need to drive once you park at the hotel. The ferry runs all night if you are looking to go to City Walk. We didn't go with children, but when we went in the summer, there was a family friendly Universal movie playing on a big screen at the pool in the late evening. Kids were sitting on lawn chairs or in the pool watching with their parents quietly watching on lounge chairs, many with cocktails from the tiki bar. If going to Universal Studios and/or Islands of Adventures, your room key acts as a fast pass for the rides which was a great bonus. Also, be sure to visit the concierge desk for more coupons at the parks and at Universal City Walk. "

Exit I-4 at Exit #75A (30A) Universal Blvd. Take a left onto Universal Blvd. and follow the signs to Universal Orlando.
Traveling West on I-4 (from Daytona)
Exit I-4 at Exit #74B (29B). Take a right on Hollywood Way and follow the signs to Universal Orlando.
Traveling North on the Florida Turnpike*
