Steve from Atlanta, GA had this to say:
"We really enjoyed our stay here--we rented a one-bedroom unit and got a two-bedroom unit instead--lots of room, great view. Staff was awesome and accommodating. "

A Recent Traveler from Tallahassee, FL had this to say:
"We spent Memorial Day weekend at Palm Twins and had a great experience. The office is on the ground floor and they just took my name and my BookIt.com reservation popped up. I reminded them that I needed a large bed in each bedroom and they said it was already taken care of (we were in room 904). All apartments have a beach view and this hotel is literally on the beach. You do not need a key to access your room; you are given a six-digit code to punch in; I had it memorized immediately. The apartment was spotless and had absolutely everything a family needs. Whenever we needed food, more detergent/shampoo, etc., we ran up the road (1-2 blocks) to Walmart. Parking is free in the 3-story garage and falls under two categories: unassigned (for floors 1-17) and assigned (for floors 18 and up). You get a little parking permit to hang in your car, regardless. The apartment was very clean and much more beautiful than depicted in the BookIt.com pictures. Downstairs there is a gym (with a bike? and a theadmill), a dry sauna and a wet sauna/steam room, as well as a hot hot hot tub/jacuzzi. Outside there are two gas grills (bring your own metal spatula, though - they only provide plastic in the apartment...), a warm/hot tub/jacuzzi, a swimming pool, and lounge chairs (bring your own beach towels). When you go to the beach, there are rental beach chairs/umbrellas, but you can also ask for a Waterstone complimentary chair/umbrella. The beach was very clean (you are hard-pressed to find algae or shells). As far as attractions, the office has free maps/city guides (with coupons) but in my personal experience: I would not recommend Ripley's Believe It Or Not (I think it was either $15 or $20 per person tax); it did not have as many exhibits as other Ripley's across the country, or so it seemed to me. Also, we had a 9-month old in a stroller and the exit from Ripley's is a turning gate -- couldn't get the baby/stroller out. I also do not recommend Gulf World; it is $24 tax per person and all they have is a handful of parrots, two flamingos, 2 gators, 3 small crocs, 3 sea lions, two sharks, and three large sea turtles. The dolphins can only be seen in a very brief morning or evening show (we did not see them). They advertise themselves a lot grander than they really are. The $100 spent there for 4 adults was a total waste of money. What I do recommend trying is Pier Park (a good 6-10 blocks back on Front Beach Road), where you can browse through lots of fun stores and eat/drink at a variety of restaurants. My husband went to the theater there and told me it smelled unsanitary but otherwise we had a great experience at Pier Park. Will definitely return to Palm Twins. Oh, did I mention that BookIt.com had the best rate going for Memorial Day weekend? "
