The Royal Kona Resort is a 100% non-smoking hotel. A cleaning fee will be assessed to any guest who violates the non-smoking policy. The Resort does permit smoking in the following public areas: the Lagoon Terrace, the Sunset Cove, and in a designated area near the pool.
