Holiday Inn Amana Colonies houses its own water park and is located approximately five miles from Tanger Outlet Mall and 18 miles from Eastern Iowa Airport. This location is also seven miles from Amana Colonies, 15 miles from Coral Ridge Mall, 20 miles from the University of Iowa and Iowa City/Coralville, and 40 miles from Cedar Rapids.

Hotel amenities include the Wasserbahn Waterpark Resort: an 11,000 square-foot water park with a wading pool with zero-depth beach entry and 160-gallon dump bucket, an activity pool with basketball hoop and a waterwalk that allows you to walk over the pool area, and a four-story twin-body slide tower with windows that allow a rooftop view of the Iowa countryside. Both slides are fully enclosed and wrap around outside of the hotel before coming indoors. The hotel also offers the vortex pool, sauna and whirlpool, Wooden Nickel Arcade, 18-hole miniature golf course, restaurant, gift shop, and laundry facilities.

All rooms feature satellite TV, in-room movies, coffeemakers, hairdryers, free local calls, individual climate controls, irons and ironing boards, voicemail, and work desks.
