A Recent Traveler from BARNET, VT had this to say:
"Our first visit to New Orleans was only enhanced by the convenience and location of our hotel. The room was nicely appointed, located inside an historic building. The delicious express breakfast was extensive and the attendants kept things clean and fully stocked and hot foods were hot, cold foods cold, and there was a lovely seating area. Towels and linens were top quality and the bed was extremely comfortable. All staff we interacted with were concerned for our comfort and satisfaction. We definitely would choose this hotel for our next stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Canal St and Bourbon St, and there was a trolley stop located across the street from the hotel. "Stayed here from Dec 4-7th, on the three night package deal. What a great location, just across Canal St to Bourbon St.! The price was excellent, and the hotel was clean. Exceptional breakfast included in the morning, eggs, yogurt, and tons more to choose from, all attendants were friendly and kept things picked up. We did have a bit of a delay checking in because rooms were not completely cleaned and ready by check-in time, but this place is HI EXPRESSly busy and we understand. The pool is not open during winter months. Bathrooms and rooms are small, but this is located in an historic building, so what can you do? Marble and granite bathroom, comfy bed, and the best towels. Walk to Bourbon, shopping on Canal, and a trolley stop is on the corner, just outside the front door, to the right."
