Loft 523 is a sexy, sophisticated sanctuary. It's New Orleans' newest boutique Hotel. What makes our Lofts great. Pure open space, design with edge, modern electronics, architectural artifacts and a local take on concealing and revealing the design elements. Our Lofts average 600 square feet, with spacious spa-like bathrooms topping 100 feet, with Agape's awe-inspiring "Spoon" tubs. Signature high ceilings boost the sense of volume and elevate the human spirit. One is reminded of David Hockney thoughts regarding a Loft, "Our perception of space has incredible effects on us. Ultimately, it is about our identity: who we are and why we are. Not a mere matter" Loft 523 is a High Tech Playground. Sony's cd/dvd surround sound systems are standard. Flat screen televisions are standard. Anywhere in the hotel, one can access the Internet at more than 3 megabits on Loft 523's blazing wireless network. Loft 523 is a non-smoking hotel. All rooms and public areas are smoke-free. Loft 523 will do everything possible to honor special requests.
This hotel has 18 nonsmoking guest rooms, all of which include high-speed Internet access, designer toiletries and loft-height ceilings. The double-height windows overlook the street. The design is modern, with an emphasis on cool minimalism: raised beds with flat headboards, utilitarian-chic showers, matte-finish metal furnishings. Complimentary Louisiana wildflowers are in every room. Smoking is not permitted inside hotel rooms.
Location - Just 2 blocks from the French Quarter on the edge of the central business district of downtown New Orleans. A penthouse view like no other, Loft 523 also offers in interior decor where minimalism meets Soho chic in this former dry-goods depot. Cast-iron columns and tin tiles grace the streamlined lobby and the intimate bar harbors a hidden grotto room where the city's locals and newest celebrities abound. Come stay & play with us!

A Recent Traveler from Baton Rouge, LA had this to say:
"Being that I am about an hour from New Orleans, I travel to New Orleans a lot. My daughter and I stay at a different hotel almost every time we visit. I definitely give this hotel thumbs up! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The room was very spacious and has that spa feel. I loved the bathroom!!! It's hidden from the big street, however very conveniently located! It's not a large hotel, so you don't have to worry about a lot of people coming in and out. There were five rooms on my floor. Again, I highly recommend it!!!!!!!"

A Recent Traveler from Hamptons, NY had this to say:
"I highly recommend this property to everyone. If you are looking for that cool, hip, chic style then this is the place for you. It is a small hotel which makes it so personal. it is tucked away so there really aren't any views, but the huge rooms and amenities make up for it. it is definitely worth every penny!"
