Deluxe Queen
The Deluxe Queen room is a "step above" between the romantic Napoleon’s Rendezvous or the festive Mardi Gras Getaway. Napoleon’s Rendezvous includes a wrought-iron canopy bed beautifully draped with sheer fabrics. The Napoleon bathroom is furnished with a cast iron, brass claw foot tub. In the Mardi Gras Getaway the beautiful mahogany hand carved Victorian queen size bed and large rain head shower wrap you in New Orleans elegance.
Luxury Suite Accommodations include two completely different yet completely enchanting rooms. The Gone With the Wind suite is the largest bridal suite that includes three 12 foot windows dressed with austrian sheers & of course covered with the famous Green Velvet Drapes with Gold Fringe. Also included is a beautiful ornately hand carved mahogany 4 poster king sized bed a fabulous double slipper cast iron tub with massive brass claw feet. Or the Vampire's Lair is by far one of our MOST FAMOUS rooms...as featured on the TODAY's SHOW Halloween segment 2006. People are just dying to get in!!! This is a great Honeymoon Suite for newly weds seeking Eternal Bliss! New Orleans decor at it's best with walls the color of a rich Merlot wine, or maybe blood red, never the less this room is "Drop Dead Gorgeous" & screams rich decadence. The king size hand carved wooden canopy Vampire bed is a replica of the one used in the movie "Interview with a Vampire". Without a doubt, this is the bathroom "Just to die for"! Furnished with a sculpted drape tub with a handheld shower that looks more like a work of art than a functional tub. This is definitely the room for all Anne Rice fans, and is one of the most romantic and luxurious bedrooms at the mansion.
One of Three Premier Plus Rooms - each individually designed in the Bordello motif. Both the Bordello Moulin Rouge and the Bordello Storyville Jazz are two of the most popular and requested rooms at the Mansion. Dripping with over the top French decadent decor in red and gold, furnished with a Marie Antoinette bed & mirrored vanity, you could loose your head in this bed. The walls are filled with murals reminiscent of the famous French Artist Toulouse Le Trec, recreated by local artist Max Bernardi Tsarov. The luxury bathrooms have an old fashioned pedestal sink & a Jacuzzi for two and wall mounted shower. The Vamp's Bordello (French for Sexy Woman) is a King Boudoir and is a popular Bridal Suite, or for those who feel mysterious and sensual. Step into this Fantasy Sexy Boudoir and sleep like royalty with a canopy bed and windows draped with rich colorful fabrics. The walls are filled with dream-like murals from the local New Orleans artist. Pamper yourself in the romantic double slipper cast iron tub filled with bubble bath, and rinse with a hand held shower while perched upon massive brass claw-feet.
Choose a cozy and intimate getaway between two individually themed rooms. Both rooms offer an old world mural above the bed and each private bathroom includes an old fashioned pedestal sink and tiled shower. In the Southern Comfort room you will find a hand carved swan mahogany sleigh bed, sitting area with velvet chairs & an antique armoire. Or retreat to Lafitte’s Hide Away and enjoy a gothic wrought -iron bed, leather night stands & yes, even a treasure chest filled with jewels. If you need to hide out for a while, this cozy room will keep you comfortably wrapped in all the colors of the ocean.
