Donna Menard from Lafayette, Louisiana had this to say:
"We travel to New Orleans every year for our Anniversary. We always try to stay somewhere different, just for the new experience. I booked this hotel not sure what to expect because of the low rates. The price was fantastic! The room was beautiful with 12 foot ceilings, it was clean and had beautiful wooden floors and a wonderful balcony, which we enjoyed. We upgraded to the king size bed (for only $10 more) and it was very comfortable and the flat screen tv was an added bonus. It has an in room safe that we liked a coffee pot and mini fridge. The shower had great water pressure and lots of hot water. Parking was free (a huge plus in N.O.) and very close to our room. Wagreens and Rite Aid are within walking distance. I loved the character of the hotel, like being in a beautiful 19th century home with all the modern amenities we are use to. I liked the location because it was not in the middle of the party scene, which made it quiet/romantic but it is also just a block from the St. Charles street car so we could get to the action in just a matter of minutes. The staff were great! I wanted to view the Queen Anne Hotel (a sister hotel) which was right across the street for our next stay and the desk clerk let us look at 5 of the rooms. It was also beautiful and we plan on staying there on our next anniversary. The hotel is just a couple of blocks (walking distance) to Emerils Delmonico which we went to on our anniversary and it was fantastic. Another great close restaurant was Voo Doo BBQ. Croissants and sweet breads were served for breakfast. They were good but the you had to walk to the office to get breakfast, but we didn't mind. Overall it was a great experience and I would (and have already) recommend this hotel to my friends and family."

A Recent Traveler from Champaign, IL had this to say:
"We basically stayed here for a night during jazzfest so we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. But it was top notch & the breakfast was good. One of the cool things was being just 3 blocks from Emeril's Delmonico. After cleaning up from the Jazzfest sweat & mud we strolled over for an elegant evening snack."
