The Howard Johnson Hotel Charleston offers affordable accommodations for budget-conscious travelers. The hotel is conveniently located two blocks from the marina. For onsite recreation during warmer months, the hotel has an outdoor pool and sundeck. The Brittlebank Diner is open for breakfast each morning. Although there is not a full service restaurant inside the hotel, there are dining destinations nearby.

For added convenience, the hotel offers a safe deposit box, copy and fax access, meeting space, guest laundry facilities, and complimentary parking. The hotel allows pets in its two pet-friendly rooms, but restrictions and fees apply. If you plan to bring your pet, please contact the hotel before your arrival to confirm the current pet policy.

There are 151 rooms at the hotel. Non-smoking rooms and rooms equipped for the physically challenged are available upon request. Standard amenities include an alarm clock radio, coffeemaker, hairdryers, iron, ironing board, television, in-room movies, HBO, voicemail, and a telephone.
